A true classic, at long last!, 2008-04-26Reviewer : DezoPenguin - See all my reviews It's a joy finally being able to get a new release of the original Phantasy Star games' soundtracks, since the original releases are both long out of print and jarringly incomplete. This four-CD collection is anything but incomplete, with the music from all four games including the FM-chip version of PSI, both the Japanese and overseas versions of PSII, and even the gallery BGM from the Saturn collection release. Thankfully, nothing is done as a medley--no more of having no way to parcel out the tracks you want to hear! Obviously much of the music is dated by today's standards, but just as many of the tracks stand the test of time well.
